About Me
Hi, I'm Anna.
I'm a Guzheng performer, educator, and founder of the Chinese Classical Art Centre, based in Canberra, Australia.
My journey with the Guzheng began in childhood, and I have been playing the instrument for over 20 years. Over the years, music has become much more than a passion. It has become a way for me to connect with people across cultures and communities.
I'm currently completing a Master of Music Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where I continue to explore new possibilities for the Guzheng through performance, research, and intercultural collaboration.
I believe music is one of the most meaningful ways to connect people. Whether performing in concert halls, teaching students, collaborating with musicians from different backgrounds, or sharing Chinese music in schools and communities, I hope every project creates curiosity, conversation and connection.
My vision is to help the Guzheng be appreciated not only as a traditional Chinese instrument, but also as a contemporary voice that belongs on today's international stage.
